Enable 2FA

Enable 2FA for Your Luxauro Account

It is highly recommended that you enable Multi-Factor Authentication on online accounts, especially accounts pertaining to online shopping, finance, banking, health,  etc.

Information on Multi-Factor Authentication for Small Businesses by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) can be found here: https://nist.gov/itl/smallbusinesscyber/guidance-topic/multi-factor-authentication

This help article goes through how to setup 2FA on your Luxauro.com account.

Notice: Currently when you enable 2FA on your Luxauro.com account you will have to login via the wp-login.php login page as the main user login and registration page will give you errors when logging in. Just follow the link on the main login / register page that says “Login here if 2FA is enabled on your account”.

2FA Using a Mobile 2FA Application

Once you are logged into your Luxauro account, open the account dashboard sidebar in the top left of the screen, navigate to dashboard>>2FA or just click here: https://luxauro.com/wp-2fa-config. Once on the the 2FA configuration page click the configure 2FA button and choose the passcodes sent via mobile application option. You will see a QR code appear, scan the QR code with your 2FA mobile app (2FAS is an opensoure, secure, private, and simple, 2FA provider for both android and apple)*. If your mobile app is unable to scan the QR code you can enter the code manually. Once done you will have to enter the code from the app to ensure that it is configured correctly. Next you will be presented with the option to generate a list of backup codes, (we highly recommend this in case you lose your phone etc., just be sure to store them in a secure place) once you generate the list of backups you will be given the option to download them, have them emailed to your the email on record for your Luxauro.com account, or to copy them to your clipboard to enter into a document. You are now done. Congratulations on furthering your Luxauro account security!
