These cedar color flat top 4×4 post caps are made of ASA resin. It is a hard plastic that is known for its strength and durability. It is also UV and impact resistant. We chose to name this post cap cedar color as a way of distinguishing its redder hue from brown, which is a darker shade of brown. All of our caps will work for either a fence or deck, but we feel that the flat top is an excellent solution for outdoor entertaining and works exceptionally well on deck posts and railings.
